Executive & Technical Duties • Performing a quality assurance program that aims at ensuring continuous production that is consistent with the adopted and established quality standards, particularly those of ISO. • Developing and establishing standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation and ensuring abiding by them. • Supervising and overseeing the analysis, inspection, design, and testing, to ensure the highest standards of quality. • Applying the methods of Statistical Process Control (SPC) for analyzing data and ensuring quality. Maintaining and continuously updating the knowledge of government and industry quality codes and standards particularly that of ISO. • Providing advice and recommendation on continuous improvement related to new and existing processes, as well as new and existing products. • Setting and overseeing the implementation of a testing and inspection schedule and ensuring the compliance with the set date and procedures. • Communicating audit results and recommendations with concerned entities, particularly Departments/Projects managers. • Recommending on the approval, change or disapproval of vendors of purchased items and materials as per the set policies and procedures. • Overseeing the compliance with the overall Quality and ISO operations in accordance with safety, environmental and budgetary requirements and ensuring continuous compliance. Supervising and coordinating the quality auditing efforts to ensure compliance with adopted standards. Maintaining Quality Manual and Quality Procedures Manual and ensure the awareness of all employees with regards to the criticality of quality and the adopted standards. Monitoring and ensuring the proper implementation of ESEC's Quality Management Systems in a manner that would maintain and ensure the highest quality standards and compliance. Working closely with the Departments/Projects for establishing quality objectives and monitoring their implementation. Adopting a system of value chain management to ensure compatibility of materials to works' specifications and maintaining client's value proposition. Supervising the function of QA/QC Engineers and providing assistance and guidance as required. |
