Executive & Technical Duties •Perform detailed review of Project's documents, specifications, drawings, BOQ and quotations along with Estimators. •Check packaging by Estimators to make sure it is complete. •Search local and international markets for qualified, experienced and specialized material suppliers. •Prepare a list of potential suppliers for the different material items and sub-contracted scope. •Forward to Estimators to check and review the received quotations to make sure that they are fully in accordance with project specifications, shop drawings, BOQ and their delivery schedule fits with the project construction schedule. •Contact the suppliers to get their clarifications concerning their offers. •Prepare comparison sheet to summarize the contents of the received quotation. •Prepare technical data concerning materials to be submitted with offer. •Perform all duties (related to the nature of the job) assigned by Tendering Director. •Will be responsible for major project handling. General Administrative Duties •Preparing periodic reports with respect to the department’s activities and achievements to be submitted to the Materials Section Head. •Performing other duties related to the job as assigned by the Materials Section Head. |
